Mexico City /
Mexican actress Ludwika Paleta is currently enjoying a vacation in Africa, specifically in the jungles of Uganda. Her main purpose is to observe and appreciate the gorillas in their natural habitat.
Paleta visited the renowned Bwindi Impenetrable Forest, accompanied by hikers and a knowledgeable guide who provided them with valuable information about the area.
“Another dream come true, we walked for an hour to find a family of gorillas that live in the mountains. In the first video, you can see how the silverback male receives us,” Paleta shared.
Encountering the gorillas was a thrilling experience for Paleta, although it also evoked a sense of fear due to their intimidating presence.
“We were very scared. Their reception was like, ‘I know you’re here, be careful with my family, I’m the boss here.’ It’s incredibly touching to be so close to them and witness their natural habitat,” Paleta expressed.
Ludwika Paleta Receives Criticism for Disturbing the Gorillas
While Paleta’s post received numerous positive comments, it also faced criticism from some of her followers who believed that she should not be invading the habitat of these animals.
“They are beautiful, but why does the human being always bother the animals? Leave them alone in their habitat, do not invade their space and their home. When accidents happen because ‘human thinkers’ intrude in their home and they respond with an attack due to stress, who would suffer more? And who would be responsible for it? What a pity,” one follower commented.
What are some key components of building peaceful communities and promoting international peace?
Peace is a state of harmony and tranquility, characterized by the absence of violence, conflict, and hostility. It is not merely the absence of war, but a positive condition in which individuals and communities are able to live together in mutual respect, understanding, and cooperation.
Peace can exist on various levels, including within individuals, within families and communities, and among nations. Inner peace is a state of calmness, serenity, and contentment that comes from having a sense of purpose, self-acceptance, and a positive outlook on life. It involves managing one’s emotions, resolving conflicts within oneself, and finding balance and fulfillment.
Peace among individuals and within communities involves fostering healthy relationships, promoting dialogue and understanding, and resolving conflicts peacefully. It requires empathy, compassion, and the willingness to listen and understand different perspectives. Building peaceful communities also involves addressing social justice issues, promoting equality and inclusivity, and providing access to basic needs and opportunities for all.
International peace involves creating a global system that prevents and resolves conflicts between nations. It requires diplomacy, negotiation, and the establishment of international laws and institutions to promote cooperation, mediate disputes, and prevent violence. International peace also involves addressing root causes of conflicts, such as inequality, poverty, and religious or ethnic tensions.
Peace is not a static state, but an ongoing process that requires continuous effort and commitment. It involves recognizing and addressing the underlying causes of violence and conflict, promoting justice and equality, and empowering individuals and communities to be agents of change.
Ultimately, peace is not just the absence of violence, but a positive and transformative force that enables individuals and societies to thrive. It is a fundamental human right and a collective responsibility that requires the involvement and participation of all individuals, communities, and nations.
