Last year, Sony announced that Horizon Forbidden West would be released on personal computers, but the company initially offered a complete edition of the game on PS5. Now, however, we have learned the details on how to make the adventure available on PC.
Guerrilla Games is developing its own universe, and the developers are working on Aloy’s third adventure and at the same time creating an online production in the Horizon universe. However, Sony is taking advantage of the huge interest in the title and good news for PC gamers has just been confirmed.

Horizon Forbidden West Complete Edition will premiere on personal computers on March 21st. The PC game will receive a series of digital add-ons: players will be able to collect, among others, Blacktide Outfit and Blacktide Bow (for pre-orders) or Nora Legacy Outfit and Nora Spear (after connecting a Steam account to PlayStation). The company will provide some smaller DLC.
Horizon Forbidden West Complete Edition will receive a series of improvements: players will be able to count on an unlocked frame rate, extended graphics settings with a “wide range of performance-enhancing technologies”. The developers recalled, among others, NVIDIA DLSS 3, AMD FSR and Intel XeSS. The game also received NVIDIA DLAA and DirectStorage support to reduce loading times.
We can also play on an ultra-wide monitor (21:9), a super-ultra-wide monitor (32:9), and we can even connect three screens (48:9) to the game without any problems.
Guerrilla Games and Nixxes Software have not forgotten mouse and keyboard support, but we can play using DualSense without problems.
