– Specialists recommend avoiding exposure to the sun during the times when it is strongest, between 12 noon and 6 p.m.
– It is advisable to drink plenty of fluids, since the heat causes dehydration.
– Eat fruits and vegetables. Avoid heavy meals.
– Do not do physical activity in the sunlight, but in the shade and during the coolest hours.
– Wear light, light-colored clothing (avoid black, because it attracts heat).
– Use sunscreen of at least factor 30.
– As far as possible, stay in conditioned spaces.
