Ohio Man Charged with Fatally Shooting His Three Young Children

An Ohio man has been charged with the aggravated murder of his three young children, aged 3, 4, and 7. Authorities have revealed that the accused, Chad Doerman, 32, admitted to planning the killings. The tragic incident also involved the injury of Doerman’s partner and mother of the children at their family home.

Law enforcement agents discovered the three children outside the residence with gunshot wounds and made efforts to save their lives. Unfortunately, the children succumbed to their injuries at the scene.

The 34-year-old mother, who remains unidentified, was present outside the home during the incident. She sustained a gunshot wound to her hand while attempting to shield her children from harm. The mother was promptly taken to a hospital, where her injuries were determined to be non-life-threatening.

Cooling Calls to 911

Deputies swiftly responded to the residence in Monroe Township after receiving two distressing 911 calls shortly before 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. One call came from the mother, who frantically reported that her babies had been shot. The other call was made by a passing motorist who witnessed a young girl running down the street, claiming that her father was killing everyone.

During his hearing, Doerman confessed to prosecutors that he had lined up his sons before executing them with a rifle. Shockingly, one of the boys attempted to flee into a nearby field, but Doerman pursued and brought him back to the house before ending his life.

Doerman’s bail has been set at an astonishing $20 million, and he is currently being held in the Clermont County Jail.

Prosecutor David Gast described the murders as the most heinous crime he has ever encountered. The names of the children have not been released. Gast expressed the devastating reality that these innocent kids looked up to their father for protection, love, and guidance, only to be mercilessly executed in cold blood.

Gast further questioned how such an abominable act could occur, emphasizing the helplessness of the children in the face of such brutality.
