The background is that the Non-Profit Form Act will come into force on January 1, 2024. “We want to support volunteering even more as a pillar of our coexistence. With the expansion of the tax deductibility of donations to all non-profit organizations ÖVP The federal government has achieved the largest reform in this area in decades. State Governor Thomas Stelzer also takes the opportunity to thank all the volunteers in the Gmunden district: “Our country is supported by our many volunteers. Not only do we appreciate this, we try to create all the framework conditions so that good volunteer work can be organized. In order to support small associations, there will in future be a largely automated and simplified process via a tax advisor. They no longer have to carry out an expensive annual audit by an auditor. In addition, access to tax deductibility for donations is made easier by shortening the entry period from three years to one year upon proof of non-profit status.
