David Beckham’s Grudge Against Prince Harry Makes Meghan Markle Nervous

JAKARTA – David Beckham reportedly seeking revenge on Prince Harry after feeling insulted by the Duke of Sussex and his wife, Meghan Markle . When they married in a glamorous royal party, Beckham and his wife, Victoria, were on the guest list.

Reported from Mirror, Friday (9/8/2024), although Prince Harry and David Beckham were initially close, their friendship reportedly ended after the Duke and Duchess of Sussex allegedly insulted the former football athlete.

In his book House of Beckham, author Tom Bower claims that Beckham felt he was treated unfairly by Harry while attending the 2018 Invictus Games in Sydney. He felt he was ignored and not allowed to meet the 39-year-old prince, which Bower said was on Meghan’s orders.

As a result, the 49-year-old former athlete felt offended. The incident happened to the football legend just five months after the couple who decided to leave the British Empire and move to America got married.

Meghan allegedly did not want Beckham and Victoria to steal the media attention at the event. So the former American actress ordered her husband to stay away from her best friend.

“Arriving on the agreed day to meet Prince Harry, she was confused as to why the officers were performing dances to please her, but away from Harry,” Bower said.

“They were both banned from photos. The humiliation was brutal. David Beckham was confused. Why was the prince refusing to see him? The exclusion order was later revealed to have been ordered by Meghan. She didn’t want Beckham to compete in the media, and especially from his wife Victoria,” he continued.
