An inspector regulated traffic in a drowning area of Petropavlovsk

The police showed the work of the inspector in conditions of excitement, Liter.kz reports with reference to Polisia.kz.

On Saturday at about 17:30, the Podgora microdistrict of the city of Petropavlovsk rapidly began to flood with masses of water from the Yesil River. The traffic flow on the road increased: evacuation measures were underway and a rush began.

Bayan Baigaskina, senior inspector of the local police service department of the North Caucasus Regional Police Department, quickly came out to regulate traffic at the intersection of Potanin and Smirnov streets. For several minutes, the girl ensured road safety – there were no road accidents, the portal reports.

Then police major Bayan Baygaskina was replaced by a male colleague from the patrol police battalion of the city UP.

During these busy days in Petropavlovsk, along with men, women also work in irregular hours in flood control measures. They participate in the evacuation of people and animals, provide psychological assistance to residents, collect information and conduct analysis at headquarters, and also work to cover flood control measures in the media, the police said.
