The municipality of Soamananrgya has benefited from the distribution of cards in the Antanifotsy district of the Vakinankaratra region. Around 12,000 cards were distributed locally last week. One strategy that can be used to solve problems in land disputes is to own a card because it has the same value as having a “title”. Farmers are assured that they will not be confused in the matter of the land map and that the process to be followed in order to manage this map will not be a problem.
The government has set a goal to distribute 2 million land maps throughout the island and it is hoped that the importance of this so-called land map will be realized. We cannot ignore the problem of land ownership in the land of the Malagasy Republic, but when it comes to regions, there are almost all land disputes.
As for the Antanifotsy district, thousands of land maps have been distributed to the residents, but this time it was the residents of the Soamanandiyya municipality who benefited from it.
The governor of the region said during his speech that having a land map can prevent land wars and that all farmers should have it so that they can protect themselves and their land if they encounter problems.
In addition, the materials used to build local schools such as roofs and cement from the Ministry of Education were presented at this ceremony.
